David Luiz has been playing with pain since Sergio Aguero’s horror tackle back in December, but the Brazilian is yet to miss a league game since then.
Before the game against Burnley, Antonio Conte confirmed Luiz has been playing through the pain. “He’s playing with a little pain in his knee,” Conte said ahead of the trip to Turf Moor. “He’s a warrior and he’s playing very well, I’m pleased for him. He’s showing me a great attitude and a will to continue to fight despite the fact that sometimes he has a bit of pain.”
At a time in the game against Burnley, Luiz’s expression showed discomfort, but he was never substituted, and it got some fans angry.
Surprise to see David luiz is still not off the pitch. The geezer is clearly struggling. Conte shld make decision before it's too late #cfc

Why is Luiz playing when injured does Conte not trust his backups at all?

Conte is an idiot. He's making luiz play with the injury he obtained from ageuros tackle. smh

Luiz clearly isn't fit. Does Conte have no faith in our other options?

David Luiz is limping, struggling, suffering and playing in pain, being a liability you can't fault him for but Conte still playing him
