Antonio Conte revealed he has looked back at the game against West Ham and has found positives from it as well as things to work on.

He said: “I watched the video of the game against West Ham. I think we played a good game with a good intensity against a tough team.

“West Ham played with the same players as they do in the league. We started very well and then conceded a goal and changed the situation. I would prefer to stay in the game.

“I didn’t want to concede the second goal. I saw a good reaction from my players and a good spirit.

“I think we had different chances to score the goal – also a penalty. We scored at the end but I saw positive things and things we can improve on.” He said.

After a big victory against Manchester United, Chelsea crashed out of the EFL Cup, following an away loss to West Ham, but the Chelsea manager is still optimistic.
