Chelsea boss Antonio Conte angered Jose Mourinho with his antics on the touchline as his team inflicted a 4-0 defeat on Manchester United. But the Italian has said that it is impossible for him to change.

Conte insisted: “My way of living the game is always the same. I like to play the game with my players. There are other coaches that live the game in a different situation, for example they stay seated.

“For me it’s impossible because I live the game with great emotion and great passion. For this reason I have to play in a way with my players. And I hope also to give sometimes the right position or the right movement to suggest the right position or to find the ball if someone is not seeing this situation.

“Sometimes I’d like to be a manager, a coach and stay seated and see the game relaxed. I’d like sometimes to be this type to stay calm, cool, to enjoy also the game. But it’s very difficult for me.

“I want to play, I want to help my players to stay close in every moment also to show them that I’m always with them in the positive or negative moment, I stay there to support them. If we win or lose we are always together.” Conte said.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
