Southampton’s coach Claude Puel knows Eden Hazard too well from their time in the French league. Puel coached Hazard at Lille, and is very much aware of the threat Hazard poses.

Puel said: “He’s a fantastic player. When I worked with him he showed his great ability.”

Hazard has been in phenomenal form this season, especially since Chelsea switched to a 3-4-3 formation. Already he has surpassed his goal tally of last season.
