It’s been cracking in the league so far this season as we’ve witnessed highly intriguing and intense games this season. More so, the magical skills and form of some players have given us something to cheer about. Here are three players that have improved this season at the club:

The attitude and form of Nigerian International Victor Moses has been absolutely remarkable and commendable, even though he has looked jaded, faded and out of recognition at the club before now. After embarking on several loan spells, the player looks reborn and does so in spectacular fashion. His deployment in a rightwing back position in Conte’s 3-4-3 formation raised eyebrows, but the player has repaid his manager’s faith in him and is firing on all cylinders. His meteoric rise is jaw-dropping and his scintillating displays have been awing. It’s been soft work for the new star on the block.

The Ex- Barcelona star’s comments during the summer’s European games about discussing about a transfer back to his former club was tempestuous. However, the compassionate leave given to Willian offered him a respite to justify his place in the team and show the stuff he’s made of. Dutifully, he weathered the storm and has been excellent in recent matches showing the form that made him celebrated during his spell at the Camp Nou. Two gleeful moments so far this season are the delicious back heel pass for Hazard’s goal against Everton and his quick-fire goal against Manchester United adjudged to be the earliest goal scored this season. Surely, he’s untouchable in this form.

The Serbian midfielder’s fall from grace to grass is well-documented, as part of the double pivot fractured relic of bygone years alongside Cesc Fabregas was a disaster. The midfielder was a shadow of himself last season and was often subdued, maneuvered, outclassed and outmatched on several occasions.

This season has seen Matic come on strong, back and better. His powerful displays have caught the eye in his partnership alongside N’golo Kante. His look in a much better shape and form and a replica of his old buzzing and dynamic self. His form is worth celebrating as it is quite obvious he has turned a corner.

Still flying the blues fly high. Cheers!
