Reports yesterday suggested that Chelsea will be willing to let Cesc Fabregas leave on loan in January because his salary of £185,000 is too expensive for an impact substitute.
According to a report by The Sun, 29-year-old Fabregas plans to stay at Chelsea until the end of the season at least before making a decision on whether to stay or go.
Fabregas has started just one Premier League game since the arrival of Antonio Conte and with Conte preferring the duo of N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic, the chances of Fabregas starting remain slim because Conte is reportedly worried about the defensive side of his game.
Fabregas has two years left on his Chelsea contract.
