Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been in scintillating form this season, leading the Premier League goalscoring charts with nine goals and he is set to be offered a new contract by Chelsea.
Diego Costa’s current contract runs until 2019, having signed a five-year contract on arrival from Atletico Madrid in 2014.
The 28-year-old striker is on a £150,000 a week contract which runs until 2019 and Roman Abramovich wants to reward the striker for his form this season by offering him a contract extension according to Daily Mirror.
Costa is currently out injured after reporting to Spain’s training camp with a groin injury. Conte will be hoping the striker is fit in time ahead of Chelsea’s next fixture away at Middlesbrough on November 20.
