Antonio Conte is reportedly interested in signing Valencia 22-year-old right-back Joao Cancelo according to a report by Spanish newspaper Sport.

Conte reportedly sees the 22-year-old Portuguese international as a viable long-term replacement for Branislav Ivanovic.

Barcelona are also reportedly interested in signing Cancelo according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo and will fight Chelsea for the signature of the player.

The battle for Cancelo won’t happen in January as Valencia are unwilling to let Cancelo leave midway through the season.

Cancelo joined Valencia in 2014 from Benfica. He made his Portugal debut in August in a friendly against Gibraltar and has scored three goals for Portugal.
