With the club out of the EFL Cup, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek way down in the pecking order, Chelsea are for the first time considering to send the academy graduate out on loan so he can keep developing.

Loftus-Cheek has been earmarked as one of the best graduates from the academy to challenge for a first-team place. However, the 20-year-old has made 24 appearances for Chelsea but only three of those have been under Conte.

Game time has been hard for the youngster to find, and a recent injury hasn’t helped his cause at all. However, Chelsea will not sell him but may decide that a short-term loan will help improve his development.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
