West Ham are interested in signing Chelsea youngster Dominic Solanke on loan in January, but Chelsea are unwilling to send the youngster out on loan, because he’s yet to sign a contract with the club.
Solanke’s contract talks with Chelsea stalled after he asked for wages of £50,000-a-week and first-team guarantees to stay at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have a policy of only loaning out prospects tied down to long-term contracts, and will only send Solanke on loan if he signs a new contract.
Solanke is a highly rated youngster from the Chelsea academy, and his contract runs out during the summer.
