Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was forced to miss Belgium’s friendly draw against Holland on Wednesday because of a bloodshot eye but returned to Belgium’s starting eleven for the game against Estonia.
Even though Courtois insists the eye doesn’t affect his performances, he admits he might have to seek medical treatment if it doesn’t improve quickly.
“Although I have no pain, it will continue to look red,” Courtois said.
“If it does not quickly improve, I will have to go to the eye doctor.”
Courtois finally conceded his first goal since September 24 in Belgium’s 8-1 victory over Estonia on Sunday.
