Victor Moses has been one of the standout players for Chelsea this season, and the Nigerian international who has excelled as a right wing-back for Antonio Conte will be offered a new contract deal soon, according to reports.
Chelsea plan to enter contract talks with Victor Moses in the coming weeks after it emerged he has become a transfer target for Barcelona. The Nigerian’s performance has caught the attention of Barcelona, and Chelsea are having none of it.
Moses is under contract until the summer of 2019, having signed a new four-year deal just before joining West Ham on loan for the 2015-16 season. But Chelsea’s technical director Michael Emenalo – a former Nigerian international – has been thoroughly impressed with the way Moses has adapted to his new role, and is keen for Moses to be given an extended, improved contract partly to acknowledge his position within the team but also to ward off interest from Barcelona.
Moses who has been an outcast for three consecutive seasons, has won the man of the match award for two consecutive games, and he’s looking unstoppable.
