Chelsea fans showed Antonio Conte lots of love during the game against Everton, as the fans chanted his name, after experiencing one of the best footballs Stamford Bridge has ever witnessed; it was perfection at its best.
Conte said after the game that he didn’t know his name was being chanted until his assistant told him so, and he thanked the fans for the support, and preferred they’d support the team above all.
“It was fantastic because I didn’t recognise our supporters were singing my name, and then Paolo Bertelli (first team fitness coach) told me. It’s good and I said thanks because it’s important for me. It’s important to support me but above all my team in every minute of the game.” Said the Blues manager.
