Diego Costa is a man in form, and he has scored nine times in 11 Premier League games this season. But beyond his form, his manager is now happy that the Spanish international can control himself.
Costa used to be a temperamental player that picks up cards at will, but he been far from controversy since the game against Hull City, where he picked his last yellow card.
Conte has admitted that he is impressed with the manner Costa controls himself.
“I think Diego is a very good player,” said the Italian. “It is important for me to see that every game Diego works a lot with the ball and without the ball. He’s an example for all and I want him to continue that way.
“If all players think this way, we’ll be a good team and tough to play again.
“Diego shows emotion but he can control himself. It’s fantastic.” He said.
