Diego Costa scored Chelsea’s only goal in the 1-0 win against Middlesbrough, and he set a record for himself in the process.

The Spain international opened the scoring at the Riverside Stadium shortly before half-time, and it was his 7th goal in 7 successive away matches.

Costa has now netted seven times in his last seven outings away from Stamford Bridge – with those goals coming against Boro, Southampton, Hull City, Swansea, Watford and Sunderland.
