Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard was given the armband by Belgium national team manager Roberto Martinez due to injury problems of Vincent Kompany.

Hazard, 25, will win his 77th cap for Belgium when he captains Belgium against Estonia on Sunday afternoon but he insists he cannot copy John Terry’s style of leadership.

“It’s good for me to be captain. I enjoy it,” Hazard said. “But I can’t be like John Terry. As captain, I don’t talk too much, I try to talk with my feet on the pitch.

“My ambition is to lead Belgium to the World Cup. To win something for the county. I hope we can do it but it’s still far away.”
