Former Blues midfielder, Ramires has heaped praises on Andre Villas-Boas, and called him the best manager he has worked with.
AVB, who barely lasted nine months as Chelsea’s manager made the most impression on the Brazilian midfielder.
“I had the pleasure of working with great coaches during my career, but I identified most with Andre Villas-Boas,” Ramires told Goal.com.
“We got along really well and it was great to work with him. He’s a guy of enormous ability and intelligence.”
Ramires played under Carlo Ancelotti, AVB, Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink during his time at Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian midfielder joined the Stamford Bridge outfit in August 2010 and went on to win the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup with the Blues before departing for Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning in January.
