After a baffling loss of form last season, Eden Hazard is back in form this season.

His excellent form saw him win the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for October and he has also nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for October.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte believes Eden Hazard is on track to becoming one of the best players in the world but he has also warned Hazard that talent alone won’t make him great.

“We all know the great talent of Eden. I think he must continue to work and to improve his talent but in this month he’s putting his talent, putting himself, in the team,” Conte said.

“That is fantastic. It’s the right way to become one of the best in the world.”

When Conte was asked if Eden Hazard can reach the heights of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Conte swerved the debate by saying: “The only thing I want is to work with my players and try and improve them.”

Conte also has some words of advice for Hazard on what it takes to be the best.

Conte said: “Because I had my own experiences in my career as a footballer, when you have a great talent it’s important to support that with great form and good organization and tactical aspects.

“If you find all these (ingredients), probably you are a fantastic player. I repeat: with only talent, it’s very difficult to be the best.

“You must put together, with the talent, a good physical condition and good organization in the team. All this [is needed] with talent to become a great footballer.”
