Kurt Zouma played 90 minutes for the first time since his serious knee injury, during Chelsea Under-23s Checkatrade Trophy clash with Oxford, and the Frenchman is happy with how far he has come.

The 22-year-old expressed how happy he was at getting 90 minutes football for the first time since his injury.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Zouma said: “I have been training with the development squad for a couple of weeks and I’ve enjoyed the experience a lot.

“I have been going step-by-step with my rehabilitation and the games were a good test for me and my knee. It’s been nice to be with the boys on a game day, travelling with them and trying to give out some good advice to them.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
