Frank Lampard confirmed on Monday that he is leaving the Major League Soccer side New York City FC, and plans to announce his next move “very soon”. But it seems like some clubs wouldn’t want the Chelsea legend to hang his boots just yet.
Chelsea are prepared to welcome the long-time fans’ favourite back to Stamford Bridge in a coaching, ambassadorial or mentoring role. But the 38-year-old has already had offers, with two MLS clubs – believed to be Orlando City and LA Galaxy.
Some European clubs are also interested in landing Frank Lampard, after a good season in the MLS.
