Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka is well aware of the form and threat of Chelsea, and he believes Chelsea are among the favourites for the title. He said: “I think Chelsea are definitely one of the favourites for the league, especially as they are not playing Champions League football.

However the Boro boss is hoping his team will compete against Chelsea, just as they earned a draw against Arsenal and Manchester City.

He said: “Chelsea is another tough challenge for us. Antonio Conte is settling in the league very well but we can show once again how we can compete.”
