Victor Moses was excellent against Middlesbrough in last weekend’s league game, and he was voted man of the match, as Chelsea won Middlesbrough away from home.
Speaking to the official Chelsea website, Moses discussed what the award meant to him, and that the victory was the more important thing.
“It was a big boost for me but the most important thing is the team,” he tells the official Chelsea website. “We all worked very hard and enjoyed the game against Middlesbrough. It was a match in which we had to graft in order to get the three points because we knew we would go top of the league if we won.
“We just have to keep believing in ourselves. I’m enjoying my game at the moment and I just want to keep on improving.” Moses said.
According to Sky Sports, Moses had 74 touches, 54 passes, 80% accuracy, 5 crosses, 3 shots and covered 10.39km, with 62 sprints in that game.
