Antonio Conte has for the second time this season been nominated for the Manager of the Month award for the month of October, and it’s only right to say that the Italian deserves to win the award this time.

After a perfect October, Antonio Conte was nominated alongside Jurgen Klopp, Arsene Wenger and Mark Hughes for the Barclays Manager of the Month award, for the month of October.

To be fair, the three other managers nominated for the award have also done great work with their team.

Mark Hughes had led Stoke City to 3 victories and 1 draw in the month of October. Jurgen Klopp led Liverpool to 3 victories and 1 draw in the month of October, and Arsene Wenger led Arsenal to 3 victories and 1 draw as well in the month of October. But for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, it was 4 victories in 4 league games, marked with 4 cleansheets and 11 goals scored.

The month of October was perfect for Chelsea, especially after the Blues had suffered devastating losses in September that could have ruined our campaign this season.

Antonio Conte dug deep to drill the team perfectly into his 3-4-3 formation, and the Italian’s tactical nous has taken Chelsea to greater heights.

The Blues were the best team in October, and Conte produced the most tactical improvement and genius thinking as far as October is concerned.

The winner of the award will be announced on Friday 18 November, after the international break, and I hope it will be given to Antonio Conte because he deserves it.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
