As far as the Premier League is concerned, October was a beautiful month for every Blues fan. After a disastrous September, many expected Chelsea to face total collapse in October, but the Blues faced a resurgent that no one expected.

A 2-2 draw against Swansea, followed by a disappointing loss to Liverpool and an embarrassing loss to Arsenal, made every Chelsea fan think of what the future holds. September ended with out title aspirations gone down the drain, and we even thought that Champions League football might only be a dream next season — but then came October with the 3-4-3 formation.

October saw Antonio Conte have a switch in formation. The Chelsea boss changed from a 4-2-4 system to a more balanced 3-4-3 formation, and since then it’s been bliss for Chelsea. The Blues swept every team that came its way; from Hull City to Southampton, it was victory galore.

It wasn’t just the victories that made October special, it was the manner in which they came. 4 cleansheets in 4 games, marked with confidence, attacking swagger, swashbuckling football and solidity at the back. The team became so balanced that we came back into the title race, and we are the most in form team in the league.

October has come and gone, and we hope to see such form in November, starting with Everton on Saturday.
