Arguably Chelsea’s best performance of the season so far. It wasn’t just an ordinary victory; it was a bashing of an Everton side that’s usually hard to beat.

Chelsea are now top of the league, and this 5-0 win against Everton will be in the heart of Chelsea fans for a long time.

How did the players fare today?

Courtois: Was on holidays today due to a very tight Chelsea defence. His passing out from the back made it easy for Chelsea to retain the ball. 8/10

Azpilicueta: Very solid display from the Spaniard. He worked very hard for the team on the right side of defence. 8/10

Luiz: One of his best games this season. He was so comfortable on the ball, and his distribution from the back was was very good. 8/10

Cahill: Was very good at the back today on the left side of the defence, and helped the team keep another cleansheet. 8/10

Moses: Another excellent performance from Moses on the right flank. He bombarded the right flank from defence to attack, and struck the woodwork just before halftime. 8/10

Alonso: Scored his first goal for Chelsea today, and was very good on the left side. Was a willing outlet on the left and supported the attack at will. 9/10

Kante: Yet another excellent display from the Frenchman. Worked tirelessly in midfield today and covered a lot of ground for the team. 8/10

Matic: His partnership with Kante has blossomed into perfection, and he was very good today, worked hard for the team, made it easy for the front men to attack and won the ball for Hazard’s first goal. 8/10

Hazard: Today we saw the very best of Eden Hazard. He was on fire and caused a lot of problems for Everton every time he touched the ball. Scored two beautiful goals today and was perfect on the ball in the build up to Alonso’s goal, and got the assist for Pedro’s goal. Man of the match yet again; Hazard’s on fire. 10/10

Pedro: Definitely the best game for Pedro in a Chelsea shirt. He scored a goal today, and was involved in two other goals. His flick for Eden Hazard’s goal was beautiful to watch, and his turn to create a chance for Costa just before halftime was incredible. Perfect game for Pedro today. 9/10

Costa: He definitely showed Phil Jagielka who’s boss today. He scored his 9th goal of the league campaign just before halftime, worked hard for the team, caused the Everton defence all manner of trouble and could easily have gotten a hatrick. He did a good job in the build up to Pedro’s goal. 9/10

Oscar: The Brazilian came on for Pedro, and had a decent game. 6/10

Batshuayi: Came on for Hazard with about 10 minutes left to play, and was lively any time he held the ball. 6/10

Terry: Came on for Cahill with 6 minutes left on the clock, and he almost created a goal for Costa after a good bust on the left. 6/10
