Branislav Ivanovic has not started a game for Chelsea since Antonio Conte switched formation after the defeat to Arsenal.
Ivanovic’s contract runs out at the end of the season and it looks highly unlikely that the Serbian international will get a contract extension.
Ivanovic can start negotiating with other clubs in January over a free transfer in the summer but according to reports, Chelsea might be willing to let him leave for a nominal fee in January.
Branislav Ivanovic plans to remain in London should he leave Chelsea next year.
Ivanovic has been linked with a move to the Chinese Super League and Turkish side Galatasaray but 32-year-old Ivanovic is settled in London with his family and will prefer to remain in London.
Ivanovic will reportedly only leave London if he fails to secure a move to any London side. Crystal Palace, West Ham and Watford are the London sides that might be interested in Ivanovic but his £90,000-a-week wages might also make the move difficult.
