Chelsea will top the Premier League if we beat Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium later today and Thibaut Courtois insists Chelsea’s goal for the season is to be at the top.

“Our goal is to be at the top,” Courtois told Daily Mail. “Obviously we have Tottenham and City coming up and if you have good results again, you can say: ‘Ok, you can challenge until the end’.

“But it’s not always against the top teams that you need to win to be champion; it’s the other games: away at Sunderland, away at West Bromwich, away at Stoke. Even when they come to Stamford Bridge, those are hard games to win. And that can decide almost more than the big games.”
