Eden Hazard isn’t just back to his best this season; he is better than he has ever been for Chelsea.
Hazard was impressive in Chelsea’s title winning season but Hazard has performed better in his first 11 Premier League games this season than he has ever performed for Chelsea including the 2014/15 season when he was named PFA and Football Writers’ Player of the Year.
Hazard failed to find the back of the net last season after 11 Premier League games. He scored 3 goals after 11 games in the 2014/15 season but Hazard has been even better this season scoring 7 goals after 11 Premier League games.
Hazard is also shooting more this season. He has had 34 shots on goal this season after 11 Premier League compared to 12 shots on goal at this stage last season and 20 shots on goal after 11 league games in the 2014/15 season.
Hazard is also dribbling better than before. His dribble success rate is 65.7% this season compared to 56.4% last season and 64% in the 2014/15 season.
Hazard has made more sprints this season than in his last two seasons for Chelsea. After 11 league games, Hazard has made 687 sprints this season compared to 524 sprints last season and 606 sprints in the 2014/15 season.
Hazard is definitely on a different planet this season. He is definitely the world’s best player in the making.
