At the time of Jose Mourinho’s sacking, the media reported that Eden Hazard and Jose Mourinho were at loggerheads. This even made Chelsea fans to call Hazard one of the rats in the Chelsea dressing room.
But in an interview with BBC Sports last week, the Belgian revealed that he wanted to win with Jose Mourinho, and he had a normal relationship with the former Chelsea boss.
He revealed that he sent him a message just to say “Good luck” after Mourinho’s sacking.
He said: “The relationship was always the same. For him it was difficult to lose a game because it’s in his character to win all the time.
“But we were together. We were together at the top, and in the bad moments – we suffered together.
“I sent him a message just to say ‘good luck’ and I hope he can win some games.
“Not too much because we want Chelsea to become champions – but I want him to be at the top again.” Hazard said.
