Real Madrid star James Rodriguez was the subject of intense transfer rumours during the summer. Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was seemingly interested in signing the Colombian international who was way down the pecking order in Zinedine Zidane’s team. He opted to stay and fight for his shirt at the Bernabeu, but it seems like he has grown frustrated with his lack of game time again.
According to the Daily Express, Rodriguez is ready to quit the Bernabeu in the search for first team football.
Despite the Spanish giants suffering injuries to key players, the world’s sixth most expensive player has struggled to hold down a regular place in Zinedine Zidane’s side, which has led to his frustration.
Will Antonio Conte go back for the player he tried to sign back in August? Rumours already have it that Chelsea are still interested in the Colombian who Real Madrid signed for £63 million from Monaco after winning the Golden Boot at the 2016 World Cup.
