Roma defender Antonio Rudiger has avoided questions linking him with a move to Chelsea.
Rudiger was on Chelsea’s radar last summer, but he then suffered from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, which forced the German international to miss Euro 2016.
He has fully recovered from the injury, and the links with Chelsea are back again, but the defender has chosen not to rule out a move to Stamford Bridge.
After Roma’s 4-1 Europa League victory over Viktoria Plzen, Rudiger spoke to PagineRomaniste.com in the mixed zone of the Stadio Olimpico.
“There have been so many rumours about Chelsea and the transfer market, can you reassure Roma fans that you are staying?”
His reply was: “Next question.”
