Romelu Lukaku has become one of the best strikers in the Premier League since he left Chelsea for Everton three years ago.

Chelsea tried to re-sign the 23-year-old striker during the summer but he ended up staying at Everton.

Lukaku is set to play against Chelsea on Saturday as Chelsea host Everton and he insists he will not have any extra motivation to beat Chelsea despite his struggles to make it at Chelsea.

Lukaku insists he wants to beat Chelsea as he also hopes to beat every other team he plays against.

“It will just be a normal game,” Lukaku told The Guardian. “If clubs are interested in you, it is a compliment to the club you are playing for.

“It means that Everton have done great work with me. The motivation for me is the same whether it is Man United or Bournemouth.

“I want to win the game and be part of a team that is going to be successful, and that is what we are trying here.

“There will be ups and downs and we have to be stronger at Chelsea. We are talking about a top side with a top coach.”
