Chelsea captain John Terry will miss today’s game due to injury, and he’ll be out for close to three weeks.
Antonio Conte has confirmed that the centre-back has picked up a muscular injury and will sit out the derby clash.
Conte is unsure if Terry picked the injury while playing with the development squad earlier in the week. Conte said: “I’m not sure if the injury was in the U23 game or the day after.”
The 35-year-old has now picked up a problem with his gluteus muscle and manager Antonio Conte says he will be out for “two, three weeks, maybe”.
