Two key Chelsea stars Diego Costa and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois are on the verge of signing a new contract with the club.
With the pair contracted to Chelsea until 2019, there is no immediate rush for Chelsea to get them signed up to new deals but talks will open in the New Year, The Telegraph reports.
The duo were desperate to leave Chelsea at the end of last season, but their decision to stay put indicates the remarkable turnaround under head coach Antonio Conte.
After joining Chelsea from Atletico, Costa was handed a contract worth £150,000 a week and could earn much closer to £200,000 a week, in this new deal.
Courtois who signed a £100,000-a-week Chelsea contract two years ago when he returned from his three-year loan spell at Atletico, could earn in excess of £150,000 a week if he signs this new deal.
