Antonio Conte and West Ham manager Slaven Bilic are understood to share a mutual respect.
West Ham are reportedly looking to capitalize on the budding relationship between the Conte and Bilic by trying to sign two of Chelsea’s brightest young talents in January.
West Ham are seeking to get 20-year-old midfielder Loftus-Cheek and 19-year-old striker Solanke on loan in January.
Chelsea are currently considering sending out Loftus-Cheek on loan to enable the midfielder get regular first-team football.
With Chelsea out of the League Cup and no European football to stretch the squad, the chances of Loftus-Cheek playing has become slim. West Ham are reportedly interested in taking him on loan in January but they may not to be able to guarantee Loftus-Cheek first-team football.
Solanke’s case is complicated because his contract is due to expire at the end of the season. Chelsea reportedly aren’t willing to send him out on loan unless he signs a new contract.
Solanke’s contract talks with Chelsea stalled after he asked for wages of £50,000-a-week and first-team guarantees to stay at Stamford Bridge.
