Chelsea star Eden Hazard was voted the Player of the Month for the month October, after a phenomenal performance for the Blues last month.
So many good players were in contention for the award, including fellow teammates Diego Costa and N’Golo Kante, as well as Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho and Manchester City’s summer signing Ilkay Gundogan, but it was the Chelsea star man Hazard who won the award.
After receiving his award at Cobham, the Belgian playmaker said that it meant a lot to him, but the most important thing will be to win the league.
“It means a lot,” Hazard said. “We played a very good month. I scored a lot of goals and all the team played well. We scored a lot of goals and we didn’t concede a goal. I’m the best player this month but the most important thing is at the end to win the league and to do that we have a lot of things to do from now until then.”
