Yesterday’s win against Crystal Palace matched a club record in terms of consecutive win – 11 in a row now. Will our wining trend continue? Many believe it’s impossible and quite right a herculean task to achieve success. Conte’s Blues are aggressive in their title push, but will definitely need to do more to win the league.

Let’s look at 3 things Chelsea must do to sustain their title push:

SOAK UP AND SUSTAIN THE PRESSURE:

Being the top team and league leaders isn’t an easy feat or challenge. It demands character and strong mentality. As the game come in a flash, the pressure to sustain our lead will be huge and surely there will be setbacks, but how we respond to them will be vital to our title push. Instead we should channel the pressure on other title challengers by concentrating on winning our games. Certainly handling pressure in the right way will boost our title hopes.

UNPREDICTABILITY IN PLAYING STYLE:

Many fans will be concerned and will be wondering why our recent games have been low goal-scoring affairs. This owes to the fact that many league managers are doing their utmost best to exploit and nullify the threat of our 3-4-3 formation. This is more than enough reason for Conte to initiate a new playing system that will be a backup plan to help sustain our title push.

THE POWER OF TEAM SPIRIT:

So far we have looked an irresistible, dominant and formidable team thanks to our enviable team spirit. We have dug deep into our bag of trickery to change losing situations into winning ones. But much more will be needed if we must win the league. Conte must keep the team together with their eyes on a common goal. Certainly this will be crucial in our quest for league glory.

Are we there yet?

Cheers!
