21-year-old Chelsea striker Bertrand Traore joined Dutch side Ajax on a season-long loan but the striker has returned to Chelsea.
Ajax manager Peter Bosz revealed Traore only returned to Chelsea to be checked by Chelsea’s medical team after the striker picked up an injury.
Bosz told Ajax official website: “That’s protocol. Chelsea have a requirement with loaning clubs.
“If a player is injured for more than two or three days, they see him. We hope that he can come back today or tomorrow.”
Traore has scored five goals and provided four assists for his loan club Ajax this season and he is currently nursing a leg injury.
