When Antonio Conte took the Chelsea job, he had a difficult job of turning the misfiring champions into a winning side, but no one expected the transformation would happen soon after the team had struggled early in the season.
Surprisingly, Conte has guided the Blues to the top of the table after 15 matches and astonishingly they’ve already matched the 12 wins they managed through the entirety of the 2015/2016 campaign.
Conte has already won 12 league games this season, the same number former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and interim boss Guus Hiddink could manage all through the last campaign.
Between Mourinho and Guus Hiddink, the Blues could only scrape together a measly 12 wins as the club finished in 10th position. While Chelsea are on a 9-game winning streak under Conte, having won 3 earlier in the season.
