Antonio Conte is reportedly keen on making defensive reinforcements in January and 23-year-old Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson is one of the players on Conte’s shortlist.

According to a report by Daily Mirror, Middlesbrough aren’t willing to sell the defender in January and have slapped a £35 million price tag on the defender.

Middlesbrough rate Gibson highly and would resist attempts to sell him in January because they see Gibson staying at Middlesbrough as key to surviving in the Premier League this season.

According to the report, Middlesbrough have reportedly made it known that Gibson won’t leave in January under any circumstances.
