Arsenal player Alexis Sanchez is reportedly in a contract dispute with Arsenal and according to a report by Daily Mirror, Chelsea are reportedly ready to make a move for Sanchez if he does not resolve his contract stand-off with Arsenal.
Chelsea are yet to make an approach for 27-year-old Sanchez according to the report but will do so if Sanchez makes it clear he will not sign a new Arsenal deal.
Alexis Sanchez is Arsenal’s best player and he is surprisingly on a £130,000-a-week contract which is set to expire at 2018.
Alexis Sanchez is way behind Chelsea’s magician Eden Hazard, City’s Sergio Aguero and Manchester United’s Paul Pogba in wages and his representatives have so far claimed their terms for a huge wage for Sanchez is non-negotiable.
Chelsea can afford to give Sanchez the package he desires if Arsenal aren’t willing to give their own player a suitable contract.
Should Chelsea bid for Alexis Sanchez if Arsenal fails to give him the contract he wants?
