Oscar is set to leave Chelsea in January to join the money bags in far away China, and Chelsea are to receive a club record of £60 million for the Brazilian (although nothing is official yet).
Reports have it that Chelsea are ready to go all the way to sign PSG’s Marco Veratti to replace Oscar.
According to Bleacher Report, Chelsea are reportedly “confident” they can sign Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verratti after launching a £30 million bid.
Verratti’s agent Donato Di Campli has dropped several hints his client could leave Les Parisiens in the near future, while Italy coach Giampiero Ventura believes the player isn’t happy.
The 24-year-old has proved his worth in France, and would be a perfect fit alongside N’Golo Kante in Chelsea’s 3-4-3 system.
However, Jason Burt of the Telegraph believes there’s no way PSG will sell Verratti to Chelsea.
I'm told there is absolutely no way PSG would sell Marco Verratti to Chelsea even if they received a huge bid in January.
