Chelsea U18 had to settle for a draw against Arsenal youth team, despite having been 2 goals ahead at a point.

Ike Ugbo fired Chelsea into the lead after just two minutes before Martell Taylor-Crossdale doubled our advantage on the hour mark. However, with the three points in sight, Arsenal halved the deficit with Eddie Nketiah’s low finish before Joe Willock netted the equaliser from the penalty spot.

Arsenal U18 scored 2 goals in 6 minutes towards the end of the match, to share the spoils with Chelsea.

On the bright side, our unbeaten record in the Under-18 Premier League stretched to a 10th game, and Jody Morris’s side remain top of the Under-18 Premier League south section with their final league game of the calendar year next weekend at home to Norwich City.
