Chelsea’s win against Crystal Palace was Chelsea’s 11th win on the bounce, and it set a number of records for the Chelsea manager Antonio Conte who’s just in his first season in the Premier League as Chelsea manager.

The win against Palace ensured Antonio Conte become the first manager to win 14 of his first 17 Premier League matches.

After the game, Conte revealed his excitement with the record, but revealed he’s more interested in the future.

Conte said: “If I don’t say I am pleased for this record I am dishonest. I am not a person who loves stats, but it’s my first season in England and to win 14 games out of 17 is fantastic.

“I like to see the present but I look more to see the future, and I want the future to be special for us. The only way for this is to work.

“We have room to improve. We are working on our principles. This season I tried to play with different formations. Now we found a good balance offensively and defensively.

“I think now is not a good idea to change it!”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
