Diego Costa’s header just before half-time helped Chelsea secure a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew believes Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante played a key role in Chelsea’s victory over Crystal Palace.

Pardew told Sky Sports: “Kante in the midfield, he’s just such energy he had at Leicester last year. He’s brought that year.

“He fills a lot of holes that go unnoticed.”
