Former Blues winger Damien Duff, who was phenomenal in Jose Mourinho’s first stint as Chelsea manager, has revealed that he used to be a Manchester United fan while growing up.
“I was a Man United fan as a kid but Chelsea was the most special time in my playing days, with a special manager in my life in Jose [Mourinho],” said Duff.
“It was nice to pick up trophies so this is the team I will always look out for.
“It is only my second time here [since retiring]. I was here the last game of the season when Leicester were champions so it is my second time back as a fan and I am a massive Chelsea fan. The club is close to my heart, it was a special time in my life and it is always good to come back.’ He told the official Chelsea website.
The former Chelsea player, who has now retired, won back-to-back Premier League titles with Chelsea under Jose Mourinho.
