Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has earmarked Chelsea winger and his former player, Pedro Rodriguez as Chelsea’s threat in the top-of-the-clash between Chelsea and Manchester City.
Pedro has been a shining light in the Chelsea team since Antonio Conte switched to a 3-4-3 formation, and Guardiola is feeling threatened by his former protégé whom he promoted from the Barcelona B team to the senior team.
He said: “I hope (Pedro) doesn’t perform well tomorrow. I have to thank him, he made me a better manager. Near the box, he’s a killer.”
Pedro has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month, after a very impressive November for the 29-year-old.
