Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is without a club after leaving MLS side New York City.
Frank Lampard, who is Chelsea’s record goalscorer with 211 goals, was spotted watching Chelsea train yesterday which prompted speculation of a coaching role for Lampard in Chelsea.
Antonio Conte has however revealed Lampard isn’t interested in a coaching role at Chelsea because he still wants to continue playing.
“It is very nice to see him,” Conte said.
“He’s a legend of this club and it’s fantastic when he can come to the session and talk with us, stay with the team. I find him in good form.
“We didn’t talk about him coaching.
“Frank wants to continue to play football and I repeat I saw him in good form, good shape to continue to play football.
“Then for his future, I think it’s better to ask him.”
