Manchester City lost their cool towards the end of their 3-1 defeat to Chelsea and City boss Pep Guardiola has apologised for the behaviour of his players.

Sergio Aguero was shown a straight red card for his knee-high challenge on David Luiz by referee Anthony Taylor. Aguero’s challenge on David Luiz sparked a mass brawl which saw City midfielder Fernandinho receive a straight red for shoving Cesc Fabregas over the advertising hoardings.

“It’s a pity it finished like this. I don’t like that. I apologise for what happened,” Guardiola said after the game.
