Kick Off: Monday, December 26, 2016.15:00 GMT

Venue: Stamford Bridge

Chelsea play host to Bournemouth, a Boxing Day fixture between two teams placed on 1st and 10th position on the table. 22 points separate the two clubs, as we head into Match Day 18.

Chelsea have won 11 league games in a row, and within that timeframe, Bournemouth have won 4, drawn 2 and lost 5.

The last time these two sides met at Stamford Bridge, Bournemouth ran out 1-0 winners, and Antonio Conte will be wary of the threat of Eddie Howe’s men possess.

Chelsea will be without suspended Diego Costa and N’Golo Kante for this fixture, while Nathan Ake who’s on loan to Bournemouth, will be unable to play against his parent club.

Bournemouth became the first newly-promoted side to beat Chelsea at home in 14 years with their 1-0 victory at Stamford Bridge last season.

Bournemouth have won just one of their last 10 league matches away from home (D2, L7), a record that shows Chelsea will be gunning for a win.

The Cherries have conceded exactly three goals in four of their last five league games (W2, L3), a stat that suggests Bournemouth’s defence will be very busy against a rampaging Chelsea.

My Prediction: Unlike the last 3 games we played, Bournemouth will not sit so deep due to their brand of football, and you can trust Chelsea’s rampaging attack to find enough space.

Chelsea 3 vs 0 Bournemouth
